Columbus, Ohio is officially the fastest growing city in America, and we need an enthusiastic and persistent sales leader to grow with us!   You must exhibit the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have strong leadership skills, high-energy, creativity, and the ability to train and motivate the sales team.  Minimum 3-5 years radio and digital sales experience mandatory. Digital Content Manager – Columbus, OH

Columbus Radio Group (Sunny 95/Mix 107.9/Qfm96/Rewind 103.5/104.3) has an immediate opening for an on-site DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER.

Our ideal candidate will…

  • Have positive & forward-thinking, cross-functional communication with our Marketing, Programming, and Sales staffs + the ability to work independently and collaboratively in our fast-paced environment.
  • Execute our team-driven Social Media Strategy for four radio brands & other media products.
  • Be responsible for our Digital Content Creation, Analysis, & Optimization (for websites, e-newsletters, social media, blogs, podcasts and video).
  • Have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing software, Adobe Audition, Adobe Acrobat; analytics tools including Google Analytics, and social networking platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X.
  • Preferably have knowledge of WordPress CMS, although not required.
  • Have excellent oral and written communications skills; proven writing, editing, proofreading and copywriting skills covering news, lifestyle, sports, and entertainment.
  • Have an eye for artistic Graphic Design.
  • Strive to remain at the top of industry trends with an ability to learn and follow best practices.
  • Be open to working on-site with occasional evening and weekend event responsibilities.
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in journalism, digital media, graphic design, marketing or communications.

Sales Assistant

The Columbus Radio Group WLVQ/WSNY/WVMX/WNND-NNP in Columbus, OH is seeking a full-time, highly energetic, and reliable team player to provide support to the Sales staff in all areas that include research, promotions, traffic, sales proposals, and new business development. Qualified candidates will represent the Sales staff to Local Advertisers and Agencies in a professional manner. Duties include but are not limited to managing customer relations, order entry including adding and/or modifying contracts and traffic instructions, updating marketing and research materials, preparing, and distributing reports, answering phones, and engaging with listeners, clients and other guests of the radio group. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

The position requires proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) including other programs such as Marketron traffic (preferred but not required). Well qualified candidates should be a self-starter who learns quickly and has the ability to work independently and multi-task and work well under pressure, strong written and verbal communications, a high level of organization and time management skills with attention to detail as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Prior administrative assistance experience preferred especially in the area of sales.
