March For Meals was a Success!

COLUMBUS RADIO GROUP STATIONS RAISE FOOD & FUNDS IN OUR ‘MARCH FOR MEALS’ BENEFITING THE MID-OHIO FOOD COLLECTIVE

Columbus Radio Group (CRG) – Sunny 95, Qfm96, Mix 107.9, and Rewind 103.5/104.3 – trekked almost 16 miles, March 31, in a “MARCH FOR MEALS” in support of the Mid-Ohio Food Collective, in partnership with the central Ohio Mark Wahlberg family of dealerships.  The donations given by both listeners and local business sponsors translated into $30,457 worth of healthy food for our hungry neighbors – and bins full of non-perishables!

Mix 107.9 Morning Host Andre Styles, leading a team of CRG airstaff & Wahlberg dealership employees, stepped off from the Wahlberg Chevrolet dealership (3900 W. Broad St) at about 8:00am, headed east to High Street and then north to Dublin-Granville Road in Worthington, with a destination of the Wahlberg Chevrolet dealership at 700 E. Dublin Granville Road by 5:00pm.  The entire trip was approximately 15.5 miles.

The team made periodic stops along the way to meet up with listeners & local businesses that wanted to donate non-perishable food items or make cash donations.
